I'm writing this part before I read the side stories.
The story was not bad, at first hated Yannie because of his attitude, but then after his childhood was brought up. Especially the fact that his shitty father made him drink at the age of 7 was disgusting to me.
Yannie's father and James are the ones I hate the most at of this. Kyle, although his name is shitty, he was a good fit for Yannie.
The chapter 80 is Yannie getting his revenge on James, and to be honest it wasn't too bad. I felt some great satisfaction from it myself. I love the fact the Yannie isn't always shown as some weak little deer that needs help all the time. Yeah, he's got angry issues, and it isn't a very health way to deal with things, but taking care of your stalker is a good choice. I'm so glad he's strong although given that he's only 130 pounds at 5'9 and being a model, I feel like the strength is more from will-power or something. I don't wanna fully spoiler chapter 80, but if you look at his size, and what he does to the two grown men. It just doesn't seem realistic, then again, this is just a made up story, but still it would be nice to have that realism.
This is my opinion based on my own preference, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to date a guy who used to be the boyfriend of my stalker's ex wife... That's just me, and I get that Kyle is 100% smitten with Yannie, but the fact that he still works for Helen is also a throw off. I'm hoping the side stories well have them fully parting ways to be honest. I'm about 50/50 with Helen, she was way too business crazy.
One thing that I didn't understand is why James didn't go to prison? He was literally outed as a stalker and they didn't bother to lock him up? I mean, I get that he can't really do anything since he's broke, but still. I feel like he should have gotten time.
Okay, I'm now on the Christmas part, why the fuck would you do anything for that piece of shit James? I don't care how crazy he is, he's the worse. Also, I can totally see why Kyle doesn't care for his brother too much. I don't really like Gale after his side story, he's a major red flag and Robin deserves so much better. I will say I'm glad Robin is being cold to Gale.
I figured the parents would be interesting, and I'm happy they accepted both of their sons being gay.
This is another opinion/preference of mine, but the whole sexy Santa was super cringe to me. If I was Yannie I probably would have walked out of that bar without a word. That's just me tho, the situation isn't something I like. It was a silly little thing for the brothers, but It was annoying that it was pointless since Yannie didn't take the ring. I'm glad he didn't take it, but still. Idk, I'm having mixed feelings I guess.
All in all, it wasn't a bad story so I recommend for passing the time. I didn't really get attached to any characters like other stories, so it was just a fun read. The smut was okay since the art was really good.
