It is not an easy read for sure. O try to to describe it a a bit in a neutral way without spoiling too much
:
- People and familiy are ableist and abusive towards the MC. Seriously hard to read.
- Miscommunication in the romantic relationship is a thing. Various trauma and expectations on both sides make it understandable but also really frustrating over the whole length of it.
- there is some character growth which gives hope. And the characters in itself are really interesting with their own interests, flaws and depth.
- ML also always respected the MC and the stuttering was never an issue between them. As impatient as ML can be he never cuts her off or gets angry or anything like that over her stuttering.
- ML has huge problems with the MC trying to be more autonomous and making decisions he does not like. Very much problematic and tbh a bit annoying from relationship-point-of-view. My hope is that it gets better once they work through their own ossued but yeah it already takes a lpt of time and barely any progress on ML side while the MC tries and sloooowly learnsnto speak up.
I have not read the novel so i cannot say anything abput that. Hope that helps.
Is this good? I also have stuttering condition since birth and it's really so hard having that condition...especially communication is one of the important in our lives. So please if you encounter a person with this kind of condition, please be nice to them and let them speak at their own pace. Don't look at them annoyingly because of how they speak and don't stare at their mouth when they are talking. I feel so sad reading this. I'm kinda surprised to saw this kind of manhwa.
