not just you lol. The novel punches you in the gut and will make you feel things. I sympathize with Grayson a lot. Emotionally unwell when Dane kept rejecting him. I feel like in this Manwha ver those scenes were treated as a comedy? like it's funny? I don't know if I like it, but I'll let this cook!
Idk if it's just me, but I feel like the scene where they left Grayson behind was more emotional in the novel, i remember really feeling bad for him, but here it just felt like a joke or something (TT)
