Putting my honey on this author

Am I commenting twice on the same webcomic yes SUE ME, SUE ME FOR ENJOYING SHIT, no but seriously like it’s peak genuinely peak the story is not only a complex tale of love malformed and broken but the way the author plays with formatting the comic itself is no less than cinematic. I knew the author was cooking when instead of showing the scene of dohun sexually assaulting Yuwon again. Which we’ve already scene in detail the brutality of the act she simply just shows the sounds and a black screen… shit so fire it burned a acre of forest in California like to just let us sit in the uncomfortably nature of that act to give yuwon the decency of not having his rape displayed twice shows that she understands the level of violence rape does to a person but also acknowledging that this a key part of their story and it must be shown. That scene is cinematic you can easily translate that scene into a movie and it would be powerful why? Because it’s not voyeuristic nor violent. So many times rape is shown without the care it deserves honestly this is a very feminist portrayal of the act of rape. Honestly we can dissect this comic with feminist ideologies and themes like unintentional or not it’s rife with these elements. I’m ngl wants this gets finished I’m writing a scholarly essay on this comic it deserves it
