I appreciate how the story gets to tackle with those sensitive topics especially the japan colonization and how taboo the relationship bw two men in that time. This is not just a smut or yaoi for the story but it could be an experience of someone who has been through the same (which also bring me sad to think of it). Matsumuto Yoh did a great job for showing the history while connecting it to social norms. This is the kind of story I would say great to read.
