Like in the beginning ok rage and whatnot but like bro has had years of observing her and he doesn't it find it odd at all since hes known her since she was young and after being empress to question her even once about y he got sent off or questioned how out of character this is especially since he KNEW her brothers were suspicious???? Is the black-haired guy dumb, my guy you have had so many years to ask her whether or not she really sent you out to die (he would have known by now). I like this story, but the miscommunication dragged this out so long that it irks me so bad. Don’t make the character unlikable bc they’re genuinely horrible then try to be like Oh well yk it's justified….sigh
