Genuine question but how is heejae imagining his old manager over garam not him being fake and manipulative he was telling garam how much he liked him while imagining someone else. From what im seeing he’s only just starting to develop actual feelings for garam
Imo, the old manager was his fears. Like his fear that garam would leave him like he did. So him imagining his manager was him not trusting garam essentially. But when garam was gone and he went to the room and saw the ducks and we saw the black hole close that was him finally trusting that garam was on his side and let him love him so he can also love garam back and not let his fear of what happened with his old manager get in the way anymore. Like he never wanted the manager over garam, he just didnt trust garam to be any different from him, like a defense mechanism.
