why does this genuinely hurt to read. im not used to seeing an mc like seju, a thug who genuinely regrets—you dont see that much. his whole story is just depressing as hell and it doesnt help that some kid keeps looking towards you for inspiration as a role model like your some saviour when they dont even know the half of what youve actually done and the weight of that + on top of that has feelings for you. ive been trying to think of the right word for a minute to describe seju’s emotions to this whole fiasco but i cant which really puts to light how inscrutable this whole thing is considering this is also how he feels
