It’s fucked up, but in a good way to knock up some senses into the reader. It challenges your morale. I was reading it at first and was about to click off when I saw the rape part. It’s reversed. Both are rapists. But in the end, I realized how the roles are complex. Being a woman or a man, being an omega or an alpha. It’s talking about inequality, misogyny, and sexism. A woman that upholds the “tradition” about how women should submit to a men really describes our society today. We’ve brainwashed many old generation of women to think like that and believe that it’s “tradition.”
One thing I liked about this manga is how their personalities are so complex and I can relate to it. An overly serious man is actually a soft-hearted clueless man. An overly cheery woman is actually a woman disguising her emptiness within. Both are the way they are because of past trauma.
This is like a protest about our society, because it has always been like this and it needs to change. Women had to disguise themselves as a man in the past in order for their scientific discoveries to be recognized.
I kept coming back to this manga because of my fantasies and anger for the unjust treatment on women as well as men. Well, yeah. I still have my sanity with me after that rape scene and many of those alphas trying to assault omegas as background characters. But that is the way of showing the REALITY.
