I have not read official spoilers. This is me guessing But I’m assuming the ML has loved Anita all along and is just making it seem is unrequited. I think there is a reason why he is hiding it and also I think it’s related to the dragon thing and somehow Anita can sense the dragon. Anyway, I can’t wait till we see the part in the first chapter where they are divorcing.
