I think it is! I think the comment Heejae made about him "not even playing the piano" got to him (ch )hence he was trying to do so but just couldn't bring himself to even play at the beginning of ch 171. That's just my interpretation thoo

it makes total sense but it just went over my head when i first read it.
i rlly wish the author made cromptons character design a liiiiittle bit more distinguishable from Garam or the prof.
but maybe thats on purpose to show that crompton is super similar to Garammand the prof but he dealt with the trauma in different ways, so he is like them but different aspects/evolutions of them
