Literally, I was so shocked to see many ppl hating on uke when it should've been the opposite! Can't honestly blame the characters cuz the author wrote them and added the unnecessary rape in the first place, hence why I dropped this story bc of how the author writes lol

Literally omds! I dropped it after it happened more so because I was repulsed by the amount of blame towards the uke in the comments. I never considered the uke to have forgiven the rapist secretary either, he just didn't want to suffer the consequences of killing him. He punched him and beat him up!
This was my thought process too. "Why go to jail for killing this guy?" And treating him after beating him up isn't forgiveness, it's taking the higher ground.
And it's all on the author because the secretary wasn't written for that to be in his character. It's shoehorned in and the author is surprised she got so much backlash for it, I'm sure she's just course correcting right now, which is why it shows up as if nothing happened.
It will be frustrating if the former secretary's dad tries to use that event for leverage. But nothing a paternity test won't fix. Since MC had sex close together and sperm is made to fight off other sperm, ML might have had enough swimmers around to prevent the secretary's long enough. I hope it's a girl, since those sperm live longer (boy sperm is faster but if this womb acts similarly to a regular female one, it's so acidic to kill off any potential bacteria that it also kills off millions of sperm in the process.)
Some of you guys are loosing the plot
People are frustrated because rape was just thrown in there for the sake of nothing.
The rapist faced no repercussions. The uke immediately forgave him. It literally served no narrative purposes and was literally useless and unnecessary.
If youre going to do it, at least do it right and dont ruin the story.
