This story is so ironic. I thought this was a good read—until I've read some spoilers in the comments.
Spoilers: The MC is just as problematic as the Ml. They suit each other so well.
Before the conflict, MC literally gets super jealous most of the time with taeshin and the ex-fiance, worrying that the ML loved them more than him.
After learning the truth about taeshin's death and Ml's manipulation at the very beginning. MC tried to get revenge from the Ml by trying to get gang graped twice!!! (Let's be fr, they aren't genuinely good friends—but he's slapping him by doing this at this point.)
If you're wondering, I believe the girl he's dating/sex partner from the hotel is the Ml's dead ex-fiance's little sister.
I feel bad for the ex-fiance and taeshin, they deserved better.
