But that the whole point why she is a spirit queen. Putting aside as a mom, she doesn't even understand what it mean to be a "human" or a "mortal" and the difference with spirit from human perspective. She has to understand about being a human first before becoming a mom since spirit doesn't have actual paternity n more on kinship
She explained it that for spirits it's something natural. She didn't know that this side of her wasn't instinctive in her half-human daughter.
I mean, I get that. It’s not even like a maternal love thing that I would expect that to come from. She explicitly withheld the information because she didn’t want her kid to know about being a spirit and then blamed someone else when the kid didn’t know how to control her spirit juju. That’s just like a safety hazard at that point
I get that she didn’t really have a grasp of emotions, but she’s a really terrible mom. If you raise a kid with spirit powers, who has to release the spirit powers to avoid dying or causing actual widescale destruction, without telling her about that pretty important fact or about the fact that she has powers at all how can you really blame someone else for her getting blocked up?
