agreed, garam alr came to tht conclusion long ago. garam isn smone to reprimanded the abusive sides of heejae or compton, it's js tht he finds compton partciularly uncomfortable cus comtpon's coming off as two faced. always putting on a kind likeable front but then hving moments where he's rly sinister/ deranged. heejae's violent/ abusiveness on the other hand was always out in the open so there wasn anything to be 'suspicious' or 'wary' abt.
+ garam dislikes how compton seems to misunderstand him n his music, claiming they r similar when they're not.
I mean yeah, he came to a realisation for the Rachmaninov piece thanks to Compton in a way. Same goes for sorting out his feelings towards Heejae. It's exactly because in a twisted way he's showing Han Garam both sides of his teacher and not just the romanticised one Han made up because of their understanding of each other
Heejae character development still far from being done loll. If Compton got it worse, cant imagine what the guy went thru rip. Can I ask if the guesses in the comment section about him having ambiguous feelings for Heejae are right or nah? I dont want a too detailed explanation, I'm just curious if hes really just moved by hatred

I wonder if this realization (that Compton and Heejae are similar) will cause a drift between Heejaes and Garam, like it makes him realize that the professor is high key abusive and a pos (although I do love my 40 yo tsundere catboy)
