No I get what ur saying. I stand with u. Garam chooses to repress heejae's wrongdoings when he thinks about how he views him. Garam has a kind've poor mentality where as long a someone has a piece of good in them, then they are good. But humans don't work that way. Heejae has pieces of good in him as we see in these later chapters, BUT the negative side of him is still him no matter what emotions or motives there were behind his actions. Garam is compartmentalizing heejae at times, basically choosing to ignore the parts of him that make it hard to love him. To Garam, he understands heejae soooo well that he can see each motive, emotion, and spark behind his actions but instead of seeing heejae as a whole person, Garam sees heejae's abusive nature as an outer shell holding the real him. Which is trueee but the outer shell still exists even if u reach the core, and that's what I think garam is ignoring.
Compton's outright buttfuckering of ppl in a similar manner to heejae will most definitely make garam have to face heejae's almost identical level of abuse in the eyes
Im so sorry im the yapatron

Since people misunderstood my comment (partly cuz of my wording) what i meant is that EVEN THOUGHT garam accepts Heejae as he is maybe Compton actions might make Garam more uncomfortable with heejae and his abusive tendencies instead of accepting them
