Agree with you, but I think he's not attracted to his sister but to his step mother. Although she looks like her, I don't think he has that inclination towards her.

Well a sister liking their brother/sister mc do exist but I do agree they should stop with the incestous plot. Can't they think of any other reason for siblings to be unreasonably cruel to their siblings without it being a kink thing?
while i enjoy this story, one thing i will always hate is the relationship with brothers in rofans. you will either get a siscon who is overprotective and sucks up to the mc or you get a third rate villain who is somehow secretly incestous? like why can’t we have a brother who is evil AND doesn’t wanna fuck their sister who is the mc? like why do authors also choose that route? why can’t the brother be a villain without being attracted to the mc?
