Basically the mc got isekai'd into another world, he lived from a baby to an adult, the only thing that's been on his mind since then is getting money and living peacefully, so whenever an opportunity to get money appears, he takes it, he doesn't care what his job is, as long as it gets him money, and he's trying to escape the emperor at the same time, because he killed their (STRONGEST) knight, so if he's found, he's basically going to die, the emperor believes he's dead(I think?), and while money is all that our mc needs, he's also kind, so if the situation is clearly unfair, he'll still help.
i love this story bc for the past couple of chaptwrs i genuinely have no idea what im reading rn. i legit cannot identify the majority of the plot since i cannot remember which MC johannes is (like he is one of the OP male MCs w dark hair and bright eyes who started off shunned. therefore in my head, he is unidentifiable anongst that archetype unless if smth in the most recent chapters trigger a distinct plot in my head). like i have no idea who MC is or his current goal or what the fucj is happening rn. HOWEVER, i enjoy this story bc all other characters are immediately identifiable to me (like not just familiar, but like i can actively recall how they met MC and their general background). even the dumb statue that MC cannot even identify atm is a character i remmeber from the start of his journey (i literally have no idea which journey MC is on ). is this the MC that lies about bejng a knight bc his old family was torn apart yet he needs the status of a knight (bc i know that’s the same backstpry as the one w the vampire MC, but i do not remmeber if this MC shares a similar backstory or if im tripping). like johannes, who are you all ik is that u got taught by a wandering mage or smth and had innate talent despite never learning from ur main family. lije did MC regress or transmigrate?? i cannot recall
