Is the author changing it up now and saying the 2nd timeline is the true ending? Because in the novel isn't this 3rd timeline canon?

    I read the novel and yes, the third timeline is actually canon but the adapter wants us to associate the story with the good ending and NOT this one because this one... This one is something.
