No, I’m speaking from my experience in reading both BL and these types of webtoons/manwhas AND from reading the author’s other works. Could there be a gay character in the story? Sure. Is there romance in this story? Not as far as we know. But one thing is sure: if romance became a factor, the main character isn’t a BL character. Stories meant to be turn into BL have a specific energy and flow. This isn’t it.
