at first, i don't really wanna read it beacuse i don't know if rashta or navier was the fl (main rzn is that i so many want rashta's character). but thanks to spoilers and research haix. anw, at first i did not understand why many like rashta and says she was fit as heroine due to her pov. as a person who is both sympathetic and emphatic, i finally understood why, and somehow i did pity her but i don't like nor hate her. her character is the most flawed one but iconic. however, i cannot deny the fact that she just longed for warmth and a good life to the point she lost her moral compass and did a lot of greedy things even before someone whispered her to do it. basically, to sum her character, it is all naivety plus wanting to live a good life plus manipulative people plus her greed. she had a choice, sovieshu was already hers, why not be content and live humbly while doing her best to learn proper imperial decorum, right? hence, i hate cheaters and pips who already knew they are coveting someone's property and partner. so, although her backstory make sense, it cannot justify her wrongdoings.
i love also how elitism and mysogynistic men were tackled here. such an eye opener coz even now it is prevalent.
