After reading the comments I realized I was not alone in my disappointment. I was trying to gaslight myself into satisfaction Σ( ￣□￣||)
I liked the story and premise overall but I wanted my poly pairing (￣∇￣") The romance was so rushed. MC's romance with Carsen felt abrupt. All 3 love interests were given equal amount of preference, Carsen should've gotten a little more of MC's preference if he was end game. I was rooting for my poly ending till the end *sigh*
