I'll admit that I have no attachment to the characters as I have in other stories. The couple isn't even a favorite of mine, but the story itself isn't too bad. I do have small attachment to the story itself for personal matters, but that's a me thing, hah.
Yeah, there are a few parts that aren't the greatest, but it has drug use in it, so it's natural for things to take a turn when you're under the control of drugs.
I've only had my experience with weed and alcohol, so I've never taken anything harder. I'm similar to Jin in a way that I don't even take most meds. I have my share of things when it comes to drugs, but I'm actually in the process of trying not to give too much information about myself. Especially on the internet where everything is permanent.
Anyway, back to the story. I love the art style it is a favorite of mine. I think I'd say my favorite characters are the two men who follow Jin. I love that they kept going to that cafe, and never really judged Jin for taken a liken to Matthew.
The story itself was decent, but I do hate that Jin had sex with Brandon Lee. I'm gonna assume it only happened once, although with the thing Brandon mention in the first half of the story. It does make me wonder if it happened more before they parted.
I think the one thing that's irking me a bit is them knowing each other from the past. I feel like I've been reading a lot of stories lately with the main characters having past memories together. It feels a little old to me. The world we live in is so huge, and I get that these things do happen. I just feel like it doesn't happen as often, and I also just like the idea of two people who have zero ties to each other coming together.
I think the ending was nice, and I love the statue Matthew made of Jin. I also love that he used his art to help with drug abuse, and Jin for getting rid of the drugs.
I'd like to think the term perfectly imperfect is their ending. Despite everything they did, or willing to do. It was all for each other in the end, and that was beautiful to me. Jin took on a life only to reunite with Matthew, and Matthew was willing to throw away his life just to stand beside Jin. They mix so well together I honestly wish I could see a sculpture of them holding each other/ kissing. Whether it's in the story or if someone makes it as fan art doesn't matter. I love art, especially when it comes to sculptures..
The r@pe and drug parts are problematic. There was the part when Matthew was drugged he even said he r@ped Jin, but Jin denied that and said he willingly opened his legs. I think the main/problematic r@pe part was closer to the end when Matthew was told to keep Jin locked down by his gang members. He used the same method Brandon Lee did, and Jin's responds to it was completely justified. They did have a talk about what Matthew did, and Matthew regretted it enough he was willing to put blood on his own hands. Jin still made his decision to stand by Matthew, which was his goal from the beginning.
I'm not sure what kind of side stories I'd enjoy, but I do kinda want some. Idk, despite not having any attachment to the characters or anything. I kinda wanna see them both sober and living happily. Maybe even making some friends or something. I know Jin has the two guys that call him boss, but Matthew only runs with Jin. I'd like to hope Jin would encourage Matthew to make more outside ties.
Oh, and another thing, when/if we get the side stories. I would love if this couple became a switch couple. I feel like there aren't enough couples that switch, and we already know that Matthew is willing, and Jin doesn't care. It was already hot enough with Matthew eating ass, and them kissing after sucking each other, and even tasting/swallowing. Some of the smut was pretty darn good. I think my favorite smut part was at the end when they were fcking while still in their underwear, Jin's choice in underwear is peak for his body style.
