I legit think it's the light spirits "fault" that she didn't have the power to sustain all of them.
He's been with her since day one so technically shes had 4 spirits the whole time but to lessen her burden he never materialized. He's also able to do a lot of stuff the others cant so I think he's like a king spirit or something thus using up most of her magic just being contracted to her.
So wait, if she can read so much in the spirit books and apparently has so much magic power why couldn't she maintain the three/four spirits?
or does she only have one or the other of those qualities? and if reading spirits books make you the strongest then why couldn't she use them properly or if having lots of magic power like the sister makes you the strongest why can't the sister use them properly. I'm interested in this magic system but don't understand...
