Because despite their similar appearances, the MC is unique and eccentric, while the teacher seemed more like a quiet, mature adult who didn't leave enough of an impact on him for him to be obsessed. Unlike the second ML, Dojoon actually sees the MC as himself, not a ghost of the past
He was more mature with the teacher than with MC should be worried I guess but really interested in the story.
