I think it’s because Amon is a narcissist sociopath/psychopath he doesn’t have the emotional capacity for emotions like empathy , understanding, or selflessness he doesn’t anything and everything to benefit him and only him because that’s truly only what he cares about
Poor Nain. Anything he adores has to be taken away by death. But Im confused how Amon did not realized that this wasn’t not what Nain wanted and just forced him to forget everything.
