I think it’s because Amon is a narcissist sociopath/psychopath he doesn’t have the emotional capacity for emotions like empathy , understanding, or selflessness he doesn’t anything and everything to benefit him and only him because that’s truly only what he cares about
Over all I love how Amon was writed. He is def not human, and the writer does not give him human heart. What he wants is only Nain.
I read a lot of stories where gods and monsters fall in love with a human and they have human soul and kinda taking away the magic of how dif creatures are acting. But not this one. It’s clearly shows only humans have human soul.
Poor Nain. Anything he adores has to be taken away by death. But Im confused how Amon did not realized that this wasn’t not what Nain wanted and just forced him to forget everything.
