i keep wondering how the labyrinth might tie into the story -- i assume the mc will make his way over there at some point... maybe he flees and amon has to "save him" and bring him back or he goes with gwen and realizes the rumors about the labyrinth are untrue and people are just afraid of the unknown / magic / people more powerful than them
