Hiii! So ever since byul was officially introduced there had been a massive debate on whether what his second gender should/was gonna be, especially after the ending of the main storyline the author drawing up concepts on social media and kinda playing around with both genders. I think byul being a an alpha despite playing a more "submissive" role in this spin off was her comprise and her staying on trend since alpha x alpha is so popular now! I think the blonde trope is just a coincidence.
