Now that this has ended, I remember writing something about my visions on what my ideal ending for me was back then back when I was reading this on bato.to (Bro I miss bato.to), I wrote this when I was like finished reading up to 10 ish chapters:
"We're just friends with benefits, strictly just that."
100 chapters later
The sound of the waves echoed across the beach as they rolled onto the shore. Above them, the blue sky slowly faded into warm shades of orange and pink as the sun dipped below the horizon.
Jaehyuk reached for Garam's hand, their fingers naturally intertwining as the cool evening breeze brushed past them.
Han Garam's eyes sparkled as he watched the sunset over the endless sea, completely unaware that Jaehyuk had been looking at him ever since they arrived.
"It's so beautiful."
He whispered under his breath.
It had been years since he last set foot on a beach, but he still remembered the last time he did.
"Yeah... beautiful."
Jaehyuk replied softly, though he wasn't talking about the view before them.
He was talking about the man beside him, dressed in nothing more than a loose white shirt and a pair of shorts, his pink hair swaying gently with the breeze.
As if sensing his gaze, Garam turned his head.
"Gah! Hey! Why are you staring at me like that!? You almost gave me a heart attack!"
Jaehyuk let out a quiet laugh before resting his head on the smaller man's shoulder.
"Sorry. I couldn't stop staring."
"Hmph."
Jaehyuk closed his eyes, tightened his grip on Garam's hand, and spoke in a voice barely above a whisper.
"Let's spend the rest of our lives together, Han Garam."
It wasn't a question.
He wasn't asking for permission, nor was he waiting for an answer. Deep in his heart, he already knew what Garam would do.

He'd grumble.
He'd act annoyed for a little while.
And then... he'd stay.
The End.
