The plot is extremely generic and honestly if the ML was unattractive this with be a horror story to a majority. I am gonna summarize the few chapters that set this off so stop reading if you wanna go in blind.
[So the ML approached MC because they knew eachother somewhat in the past but also got new insight from another person that the MC became a whore in highschool… so he lied about his age to the MC and then while the MC got drunk he got his ‘consent’ to sleep with him. Then after they sleep together the ML tells the MC that if he doesn’t want everyone to know they slept together, the MC has to be submissive to his orders.]
To me, I can handle darker subjects but this story is just so… bad in a boring and uninteresting way. It actually makes me uncomfortable in the way I feel like the plot is presented by only a relationship built up on SA and unhealthy power dynamics and the old childhood relationship they have is just tucked in a corner to be discussed later? Like it’s just a bad porn plot with a little side story, at least how it’s going.
I wouldn’t recommend this read, there are better unhealthy stories out there if that’s your type. This is poorly done writing to the point I don’t even feel immersed enough in a fantasy realm to NOT draw an uncomfortable parallel between reality and fantasy because that’s how raw the story is. It’s SA and blackmail of a vulnerable person who had no friends. The arts really nice and if this is your style, it’s your style and keep your opinion, but for those wondering if it’s your type— if you share a similar mindset as me then I don’t recommend picking it up!
