Yeah it's really great, tho gotta remember the mc is a child (since most the complaints I've are about how annoying she seems, even tought it's legit just what a child in her situation would do)
Yes, you should read it, but understand that it's a fantasy book and the main story is about a little girl and the world of magic. Also, though it is very hard that the two characters the video references are not in at leaaast some kind of situationship, their love story is not a plot point until chapters 80s-90s. It is really one of my favorite depictions of love of any kind, and an absolute heart breaker, I'd say it's worth it if you also enjoy fantasy
