ngl with how explicit ch 30 was, it kinda edged close to fetishizing SA. but ig i can see how the whole thing served the narrative by showing just how deeply disturbed the old man is and how horrific yeseung's situation actually is (˃ᯅ˂) it was jarring, but it also recontextualized the way yeseung carried himself throughout season 1, where he was smiling and joking around gyeol while we only saw brief glimpses of this horrifying truth as his walls slowly started to crack.
the author clearly isn't holding back this season, and im reminded of when they said this will be the flashover that's going to engulf everything in flames. it's scary but now im hyped. i remain curious with how gyeol and yeseung make it through this. i really need to see that old mf burn down with his art gallery along with his messed up creations... or rot in prison idk i can't decide ( ｡ •`ᴖ´• ｡)
