Just had a realization. I'm actually really picky when it comes to the black and white art. I either like it when it is realistic, like anatomically correct (but not in a Bara way, too realistic!) Or I like it when it is edgy or avant-garde.
But mostly, black and white art makes me think "classics". Ha ha, just aged myself! I had a lot of black and white X-Men comic books growing up, so I really do enjoy the black and white art. But some just call to me more than others.
But I feel like maybe black and white is becoming less popular? First Korean full color manhwas started taking over and now AI trash is starting to creep in.
The art of black and white is so unappreciated, in my opinion.
