I don’t really mind graphic depictions of dark relationships. But what really matters to me is the “redemption arc”. I want to see some groveling, or better yet the abuser getting karma.
So can you please spoil me a little? Does the ML here have a proper redemption arc? Did he suffer (physically or emotionally)?
I’m already 10 chapters in and I think I can power through as long as there’s a guaranteed redemption arc.
Not just a sudden 180 character change or character development, I need like some serious groveling.
