You are aware the reason she is ruining people life is because she needs to be the most cartoonishly evil person ever to make the mc look better right? She is a villain created to prop up the mc. No one is excusing what she did she's a fictional character whoses choices are dictated by the author a person who is very obviously extremely classist

Again, I’m saying this should be one statement: trauma shouldn’t define someone’s entire life, and having trauma does not give anyone the right to destroy another person’s life, regardless of what they went through. I understand that people dealing with trauma may not always be in the right state of mind, but that doesn’t mean you have to place empathy and emotional understanding in the wrong places or completely excuse their actions. These manhwas obviously don’t operate by real-world laws, but what she did was still wrong. Trauma doesn’t just affect the person experiencing it; it can deeply affect the people around them too. I know she is a victim, but that doesn’t mean she gets a free pass for ruining someone else’s life, especially when she was aware of what she was doing. So please don’t act like acknowledging her trauma automatically means we have to excuse her actions. And obviously, a lot of manhwa characters are trauma survivors, and I’ve seen plenty of characters who, despite everything they went through, became stronger or tried not to pass their pain onto others. I’m not saying she isn’t a victim, because she absolutely can be one, but every victim reacts to trauma differently, and being a victim doesn’t automatically make every action they take acceptable.
