It's a manga it's not that deep, if you see everything as classist and misogynistic you have to rethink your prospectives, and the daughter doesn't have anything to do with what happened it was the mentality of the past that made this all happen and the miscommunication between the both of them
They were together trought all their lives but they were also destined to not be together up until old age because of Touma, I'm not sure how to explain this but in Asian mythology and religious beliefs for them to reincarnate and be the same age they would have to die at the same time because that's how "limbo" works for them to manage to be the same age after 6 lives would have required crazy mathematics and it wouldn't be ethical for Toumas 6 reincarnations to fall in love with an Hayato reencarnation that wasn't of similar age and idk if you noticed but all the ghosts of Yumas past life's act very similar (they are the same size too) they were right about to cross the bridge and rest in piece since they can only be possessed if Touma gets triggered so they lived to fall in love and almost be together until Touma sabotaged them and lead to Hayatos reincarnations to follow right after he quote on quote says that he has loved Touma thought all their lives
Yuuma is unbelievably beautiful… but that’s no excuse for being a doormat omg if he let you down for six lifetimes he just don’t want you that bad bruh move on i feel like the supposed romeo and juliet romance which lasted for centuries just wasn’t there so it’s not that convincing to the readers that they’re soulmates reincarnated AND I HATE how all of the fault for breaking them apart falls on the “spoiled” and “entitled” daughters as if it were the women who oppressed homosexuals for millenia.. RIGHT. And the maid and the classmate just being designated foolish but happy go lucky supporters who dont even actually know anything or contribute anything meaningful just doesnt sit right with me..
