I don't think anything is wrong with tbh, remeber that Kihoon never intended to get with Yeon because of his mindset that he was a jinx causing trouble for him. So I don't think it's surprising that he would remember and avoid him so the Yeon can 'stay safe'. But upon meeting him again the desire to be with him was ultimately stronger
So basically the ML was confident the MC would find him when ready to start over only for 7 yrs to pass and ML to accidentally run into him and start actively pursing him for the MC to finally face him. So if the Ml hadn’t run into him by accident the MC would’ve just kept avoiding him. I’m not sure how I feel about that.
