I think the author wanted to include this because the MC regressed to a time period when bowing to seniors was still a thing. However, in the later years of their career, even when bowing was officially discontinued, spArk still upheld this tradition to a degree to be polite and respectful. They even try to help out the staff at any filming sites they work at for music videos, commercials, etc.
This is the first time I read an idol manhwa about doing that idol culture of greeting their seniors' room. As a former kpop fan, I watched an interview of some kpop idol saying they were disappointed that culture is no longer practiced. And that when they were still a newbie, they would even bow lower than their seniors everytime they greet each other and see them on the hallways. But nowadays, newbie kpop idols doesn't even bother to look their ways and respect them. I believe Koreans are really sensitive about this topic so I was surprised that this was included
