Viktor didn't know she was drugged, and thought she had just wanted to betray him all along, especially since her only reason was "I can't remember". She can't remember the day, who was the interviewer, if she was drugged, or anything she may have said.
Which is why, the public found out that his mother is in an asylum/monastery (I can't remember), and Viktor had to prove she was violent due to her mental state (could be one of the many things Scarlett tattled about)
