It’s because he looks like a fucking kid?? The faces he makes are genuinely so cringe to look at and they whitewashed both the MC and the ML. The plot is great but the art makes it harder to keep up.. T-T

Then don’t keep up? He literally just looks like a pretty male, like most of yall resort to referring ukes as children when there’s a change in art style every time lmao. I’m just saying don’t complain if you’re going to continue reading cus it’s pointless

I’m not complaining that the art changed. I’m saying the new art changes how the characters read to me, and in a mature romance, making an adult protagonist look extremely young can be genuinely uncomfortable. (That man is supposed to be 30 !!!!!!!!!) The fact that I still enjoy the plot doesn’t make that criticism invalid. If people constantly dismiss this kind of criticism instead of acknowledging why it can be uncomfortable, then it’s easier for these kinds of character designs to keep being normalized!

No of course, it really does suck that it changed the way it did, but to say the mc looks so child like is also weird given that he just looks pretty and feminine. I don’t think we should dismiss the issue on authors constantly drawing these kinds of character designs, but people are complaining rather than giving constructive criticism.
