I def agree, and the amnesia arc is often portrayed poorly, but this is actually logical. Although the rates for it are low, occasionally large scale car attack victims will suffer from memory loss due to trauma blocking. This can impact unrelated memories, especially if the person in question thought of those other memories during the body's processing of the accident.
The way the amnesia arc has a chokehold on the yaoi webtoon community needs to be studied. If it was that easy, anyone who has so much as been bonked over the head with a cabbage would be stumbling around confused, forgetting they have bills to pay.
