Well it was better than the first volume but that wasn’t a high bar. Genuinely unsure why so many people read this if the age gap was bothersome. It’s written on the tin.
Crazy to me that the author wrote two whole ass volumes for this nothing burger couple instead of writing something actually interesting. So many manga give us these “unattractive” single bar owners and never give them any kind of happy ending or romance. I was so happy to see Yu and Usa but of course it’s a one chapter extra.
For a little bit of positivity I will say that at least the age gap is actually discussed outside of “yay young boy very sexy” which is typically the case. It’s still very romanticized and I’m annoyed that Shota (ironic name) had 0 growth except the last chapter (and that’s barely anything), but at least it wasn’t super romanticized from the older character’s POV.
