Idk bout y'all but it really ticked me off when I found out they didn't talk for 2 whole ass years. Like if it was 6-7 months then I could've understood heck I could've understood even if it was 1 year but 2?? And it really feel a little off(?) when they saw each other again and Hayden still jumped up and adjusted Brett's scarf like that. Who would do that to an ex who "abandoned" you? Also I know Brett is an intensely complex character and frankly he's someone I had a hard time understanding. All that to say, it feels like Hayden loved Brett more than he loved him.
