It's chock-full of common tropes like "old virginal fmc who never had a relationship before ml", "sexually experienced playboy ml falls for 'plain' fmc", "plain fmc turns out to be a goddess after removing glasses", "fmc still acting like a pure virgin who gets dominated by a sex beast even after several sexual encounters", "fmc completely oblivious to ml's feelings", "fmc obviously have feelings too but bc of her self-esteem she supresses it and wont communicate it to ml, which would likely drag out the romance", "possible 2nd ml to stir up drama". it's formulaic cookie-cutter romance with the josei label slapped on it. it's meh, nothing particularly interesting.
Im not saying its anything groundbreaking, but people usually put these types of ratings on actual full on garbage, not just normal overdone smut without any problematic tropes
when i read ch 1 the rating was 8.7, idk if that's "these types of ratings" ur talking abt, but that's pretty fair to the quality of this story so far (if the art wasnt pretty, id rate it lower ngl). and other generic smutty josei ive read have usually been rated within the 8.5-8.7 range, which i would say is also fair. this story just isnt that interesting, which is fiction's biggest crime.
