I'm a cliche-loving reader, I love a good wife-chasing story and an uke-enjoyer-slash-protector. But THIS? I've been reading BL for decades and for the first time, THE UKE FUCKING ANNOYS ME.
Can someone please explain to me his way of thinking because my brain just doesn't compute. It was so frustrating to see them clash every fucking second. When Jihyeon asked why Eunho cares for him more than a manager should, I was screaming "JUST SAY BECAUSE YOU'RE FRIENDS IF YOU DONT WANT TO CONFESS" Would that be a lie? No! They've been friends for 11 fucking years!!! But what did he do?? EVADE THE QUESTION AND PICK A FIGHT WITH JIHYEON INSTEAD *eyeroll*
Like, I get it. Seme isn't exactly faultless. HE'S A BIG BABY. A needy, bitchy one. Bro really needs therapy. He's really bad at recognizing feelings but I appreciate the fact that he's genuine. Like, he's been vocal about what he feels towards uke but he's having a hard time understanding what they mean. Which frustrates me every fucking time uke brushes him off as "cruel bastard".
Like, GURLLLLL HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT YOUR " UNREQUITED LOVE " . I get it, it sucks, I've been there too, but instead of TALKING he just clashes with seme like he's fighting fire with gasoline every single time.
That time Jihyeon went to him to talk, what did he do??? HE FUCKING KICKED HIM OUT. I WANTED TO STAB HIS USELESS BRAIN SO MUCH THAT TIME. I WAS SO PISSED OFF.
What's even funnier is Eunho wants Jihyeon to understand his own feelings towards him -- why he's so clingy, calls him his "one and only" etc WHEN HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE NERVE TO CONFESS HIMSELF. THE NERVE! HE DOESN'T EVEN TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT NORMALLY THEY JUST FIGHT AND FIGHT.
I dont even know why I made myself suffer reading this shit. But I guess it was the art that hooked me in, it was beautiful (btw i prefer black haired ukes i go gaga over them but for some reason i find Eunho's character design unappealing. Turn out I would also hate his character itself).
I stayed for Jihyeon, I feel really sorry for him. Atp I don't think he and Eunho should be together. For the first time, I dont want for the couple to end up together. Eunho doesn't deserve him.
I ALSO LOVE JIHYEON'S UNCLE!!! GIVE THAT MAN A REST HE'S BEEN THROUGH A LOT TOO ╥﹏╥
I was planning to read the novel when I was just starting this but now I don't know. I dont want to go through that frustration again, I feel like I would have a heart attack if I get pissed at Eunho again lol. But I do want to see Jihyeon's happy ending. It's a conundrum ┗( T﹏T )┛
