Please help me because I’ve been thinking about this for a while.
I’ve read several analyses, but I still can’t figure out which interpretation is the most likely.

In Chapter 13, when Jaeyi said, “…I take it back, what I said before, I mean.” — what did he mean by that?

Some people think he was referring to the fact that Ideum wasn’t his type, and that his feelings about that had changed. Others think he meant that he would’t quit the friends-with-benefits arrangement if he starts developing feelings for Ideum. But I don’t think he would say something like that out of nowhere, especially not in that way.

Some people say he was referring to the “pushing/teasing” while doing it, and that he said it to provoke Ideum, but he doesn’t wanted to hurt his feelings or exhaust him, so he “take it back”.
Or, did he mean by that that yes, Ideum has improved?
I don’t know, someone any idea?
