…I never really liked any of the pairs. I thought the best fit would be Shuri or Mai - and Mai was clearly a barely ok pair based off familial logistics. I also was ok with him not finding a love by the end of this story. I AM NOT OK WITH WHO HE ENDED UP WITH. SHE WAS LIKE 12/13 when he 1st met her and 15/16 when he leaves on his journey. It’s all ICKY. It’s icky! I hate all of I skipped the last 20 something chapters cause by 100 I could tell this was going to be end pair and not some other muse situation or “I love you too but not the way you do” cause low-key she was kinda like a mother to him at times.
