I know they cut parts because the novel does add parts that are long, but they also kinda gets rid of the details of the world and how much he loves his painting life, I really wish gave the other birds colors like in the novel, :(
They're can choose their colors so that he knows what they're thinking yet only let honey be a color If they want honey to pop out, just make the other's color more opaque!
