I think its not that simple.its in his head..that cage is his safe place so even if the cage is kinda wide open he is afraid to go out and the lock is because if its locked no one will harm him like the uke did to protect the seme when they were kids..
yes it's in his head but at the same time the bars are not suposed to be wide open because the uke was locked in there in the beginning too? no point in getting surprised how he got out if the bars were wide open lol
i keep thinking if they just turn sideways a little they will slip through (〜￣△￣)〜
