I genuinely don’t understand why the author felt the need to make Jun another bottom with literally zero relationship history while the ML has had 5+ relationships. （￣へ￣） First of all, Jun is handsome, and even the people around him acknowledge that, so are we seriously supposed to believe that in TEN YEARS nobody ever asked him out once?
And it’s not even like Jun was secretly obsessed with the ML or madly in love with him all those years. He got rejected, and then insulted on top of it when he literally hadn’t done anything wrong. So this whole “I’m your first” setup just feels incredibly forced.
The author could’ve easily written Jun as someone who had dated other people before the ML. Instead, they deliberately made him inexperienced just so they could push this whole “I am ur first, so you have to end up with me” narrative.
And then they introduce someone who likes Jun after the ML and MC are already together, apparently just to manufacture drama. Like, why not write the MC as someone who actually has some experience and understands relationships? Nope. Apparently the MC has to be completely pure and naïve about romance while the ML gets to have 5+ relationships and a whole dating history before finally deciding he’s in love with him.
At this point it’s not even subtle. The purity standard is clearly only applicable to the MC. The ML can have an entire romantic résumé, but the MC has to be untouched, inexperienced, and conveniently “waiting” for him. What a bizarre fucking double standard.
